Pricing tools for marketplace sellers

Four calculators that answer the questions a marketplace seller asks before listing anything. Free, no sign-up, nothing to install. The fee rates come from the OnBuy marketplace API, not from a guess.

Why these four

The four numbers that decide whether a listing is worth having

Most pricing mistakes on a marketplace are arithmetic, not strategy. A seller sets a price that looks healthy against cost, forgets that commission is charged on the delivered total rather than the item price, forgets that the price a buyer sees already includes VAT, and ends up holding a listing that wins the Buy Box and loses money on every unit.

Profit tells you what a sale is worth today. The minimum price tells you how far you can be pushed before that sale stops being worth having — and it has to be grossed up from cost, not marked up, because every percentage charge comes off the selling price rather than off what you paid. The delivered price tells you what actually beats a rival, because buyers sort on the total. The category rate is the input all three depend on, and it varies from 7% to 20% depending on what you sell.

Get those four right once and every listing decision afterwards is quick. Get one wrong and it is wrong on every SKU at the same time.
